The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft successfully applies the color e-reader concept to a larger 11-inch screen, greatly improving the writing, note-taking, and reading experience for students and professionals, though it remains quite expensive.
TechRadar80
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft combines large-screen reading, color e-ink, and note-taking into a single premium device, but its extremely high price and the inability to use notes while reading comics make it hard to recommend to the average user.
Digital Trends80
The Amazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft offers a luxurious hardware design, excellent paper-like note-taking, and strong battery life, but its high price and restrictive software make it hard to fully recommend over more flexible alternatives.
Engadget79est.
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is a capable color E Ink writing tablet with a great screen and improved performance, but its high price and limited writing software keep it from being an unreserved recommendation.
The Guardian79est.
The Kindle Colorsoft successfully introduces a vibrant colour screen that enhances book covers and illustrations without ruining the core reading experience.
Tech Advisor79est.
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft successfully brings a larger format and color screen to Amazon's note-taking e-reader, making features like textbooks and sketching much more useful, but its very high price tag remains a major drawback.

The reviewer finds that the Kindle Colorsoft offers a surprisingly good color screen for comics, but concludes that the added cost and compromised black-and-white contrast make it hard to recommend over standard monochrome models like the Paperwhite.
How-To Geek70
The Amazon Kindle Colorsoft introduces a useful color screen and works well after resolving initial hardware issues, but its high price and lack of essential features like page-turn buttons make it hard to wholeheartedly recommend over cheaper alternatives.
The Verge70
The Amazon Kindle Colorsoft features the best color E Ink screen yet, but a high price tag, a screen discoloration issue, and a lack of major features like stylus support make the color upgrade hard to justify for most users.
