Our verdict
8 of 9 reviewers who tested the Aeron recommend it. Its mesh seat and back stay cool, it arrives fully assembled, and critics call its build quality and 12-year warranty hard to beat. The one lab test that scored it lower found too few adjustments for the price.
The catch: Very expensive, and the firm mesh seat isn't for everyone.
